Wash, card, and dye your own fleece, or use it for garden mulch or bee hive insulation. This wool came out on top for being the most free of bio matter from hay and pasture, and is suitable for other use. This wool is great for felting and for use as stuffing. It can be carded for woolen quilt batts. It is not considered suitable for spinning wool yarn, however some have used it for yarn with lovely results.
It still has the natural lanolin content – this has not been removed. It is raw!
