Second Farmer’s Market! (6/27/24)

Setting up our stand in the garage as a dry-run to make sure everything worked before the first Farmer’s Market

6/27/24 Farmer’s Market

Thankful for no rain, and great people with interest in wool!

Shearer, Dee, stopped by and introduced herself – she does both tiny and larger flocks.

Heard about some great wool sources and resources (If you give them a call/visit, mention that you saw it here!):

  • Twisted Oak Farmstead woolen mill in nearby Spooner, WI! – Check it out! If you have your own fleeces and are looking for a processor, this would be a great first stop!
  • Country Freckles – located in Wisconsin Rapids, they have hooked rugs, espresso bar, wool, and more!
  • Miss Elsie’s Yarnery – located at 12710 Lake Blvd, Lindstrom, MN 55045 ((651) 257-6199)
  • Mitza Creek Farm – located in Hayward, WI
  • The Cobbler Shop – St. Croix Falls – they have offered wool insoles (shearling) in the past
